Our Peoria, IL Distribution Center is seeking dynamic and motivated driver professionals to join our growing team. This role offers the perfect balance of independence, client interaction, and meaningful work delivering essential healthcare products. Position Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am until completion

• Base Pay: $20.52/hour

• Earning Potential: Earn up to 10% additional incentive pay for meeting goals, with stretch opportunities for an extra 6% (paid every 4 weeks)

• Note - this position is a cover driver position that may cover any parcel van or bulk route. FT hours.

• Local Routes - Local routes, home daily - we value your weekends!
• Build Relationships: Represent McKesson while delivering critical healthcare products to our clients. Enjoy working outdoors and interacting face-to-face with healthcare providers rather than being desk-bound.
• Deliver with Purpose: Transport life-changing medical supplies and pharmaceuticals that directly impact patient care throughout the Portland metropolitan area.
• Keep Your Edge: Stay on top of your game during your shift by moving efficiently to ensure that life-changing products are shipped quickly and accurately through effective order fulfillment management.

• Always Learning: We offer on the job training to certify you in driving our power industrial equipment, specialized processes and certify you to operate our advanced automation.

What You’ll Need

• REQUIRED:

  • Regular driver's license

  • Ability to maintain a safe driving history

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

  • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing for extended periods (3+ hours each)

  • Must meet and maintain DOT physical requirements

• PREFERRED:

  • 1-2 years of professional driving experience

  • Strong verbal communication skills for client interaction

  • Problem-solving abilities and adaptability

  • Experience in logistics, delivery, or healthcare industries

In addition to salary, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may be offered.

In situations of high demand, there could be instances when our team needs to work beyond their scheduled times so our customers and their patients can get the healthcare products they need. We do our best to share schedules two weeks in advance to help our associates plan.  Hours worked beyond scheduled time will receive overtime pay.
