Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will act as the technical lead for engineering activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution across all disciplines. You will serve as a design authority within your engineering discipline and complete related assignments. The work model is onsite, contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division in Westerville/Columbus, OH. Your main responsibilities include: Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to resolve engineering issues. Coaching project engineers and designers on translating conceptual designs into engineering documentation, including modeling, prototyping, and calculations. Leading and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) across engineering disciplines, both in-house and outsourced. Applying design thinking and excellence concepts in projects, including modeling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. Qualifications for the role 2 or 4-year Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Science). Combination of education and 6 years of work experience. Experience with Industrial Automation systems, preferably ABB or competitive systems.
