Warehouse Data Entry Clerk (Entry Level)

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Pay Rate: $$18.50 per hour
Schedule: Training on Day Shift (first 4–6 weeks) , then transition to Afternoon/Night Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (based on performance)

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the flow of warehouse orders to be picked.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry into internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Identify and resolve count discrepancies.
• Assign order tags and maintain proper documentation.
• Review e-commerce shipments and post inventory in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Support office staff with administrative tasks, including receipts, shipments, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately type and process alphanumeric data (minimum 30 WPM).
• Work independently while multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of data entry or clerical experience preferred (warehouse experience a plus).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills:
• • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook .
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse office environment.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • System-savvy with high data-entry output.
