Dispatch Associate - Manufacturing

Hours : 2:30pm-11:00pm
Pay Rate : $18.50/hr

Job Description for Dispatch Associate:

The Dispatch Associate ensures that products meet quality standards, prepares and ships orders efficiently, and contributes to a positive team environment. You’ll help produce high-quality heat transfers and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health and Safety : Promote and follow safety practices; manage hazards.
• Quality Control : Inspect and maintain quality standards; resolve issues quickly.
• Counting and Packing : Ensure accurate order counts; pack and label orders.
• Shipping : Dispatch shipments; complete documentation; operating material handling equipment.
• Teamwork : Foster a positive work environment; collaborate across teams.
• Communication : Effectively communicate issues and information with team members.

Minimum Requirements for Dispatch Associate:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in QC, logistics, or shipping role is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and color perception.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and twist throughout the workday.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Capable of working in a moderate to loud environment.
• Must be able to work with moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in quality control, logistics, or shipping environments.
