We’re looking for a copywriter to join our Chicago-area team, someone with a passion for fresh thinking that leads to appropriate results for our clients and who has fun doing it! This role requires a positive attitude to continuously learn from your peers, individual ambition and a unique creative vision, but the willingness to understand marketing strategies and objectives. 

As a copywriter at Pepper Group, you will be expected to push the boundaries with your creativity and challenge conventional approaches when appropriate. You should be able to work independently and with a team to create solutions within assigned schedules, approved budgets and project parameters. 

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to work on a variety of projects, including email campaigns, social posts, blog posts, brochures, videos, ebooks and web copy
• Excellent writing and concepting skills and ability to write clear, succinct, persuasive copy
• Ability to interpret, understand and simplify complex briefs
• Able to present complicated products in a clear, simplified manner
• Proven work experience in the field with a diverse portfolio and samples
• Excellent time manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, journalism, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Must live in the U.S.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
