Contracts Administrator / Contracts Manager (Contract Position)

Our client (publicly traded energy company) is seeking a Contracts Administrator / Contracts Manager for their growing legal department. Candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and managing all standard form contracts and master service agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, purchase and sale agreements, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, product and technology licenses, transportation contracts and access agreements. This role will also oversee the global document management system / contract database and ensure that agreements are handled in a timely manner. The successful candidate will have experience managing the full cycle of contract administration.

Required:

  • 3 years of in-house contracts administration / commercial contracts experience in the oilfield, oil, drilling, construction or chemical industries.
  • Experience with master service agreements, vendor agreements, supply chain agreements, purchase / sale agreements, confidentiality agreements and general contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Proficient in contract management systems and tools.
  • Familiarity with vendor management principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish (written / verbal) a plus.
