Join Our Team as a Construction Project Manager!

Are you a motivated and team-oriented professional looking to advance your career in construction management? We are a well-established construction company based in New Braunfels, Texas, with nearly 20 years of experience in providing turnkey elevator modernization solutions, primarily for commercial projects. We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth.

Position Overview:

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, from bidding to delivery, ensuring timely and profitable completion. This role will be based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, with projects across the region. You will undergo a comprehensive training program, starting in Texas and continuing in North Carolina, to fully equip you with the skills needed to excel in this position. You will represent our company to vendors, consultants, and clients, upholding our values and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful completion of construction projects within allocated time and budget.
  • Actively coordinate work during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
  • Manage projects in compliance with North Carolina building codes.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, OSHA, and EPS standards.
  • Serve as the primary representative for all assigned projects.
  • Coordinate activities and collaborate with team members for successful project outcomes.
  • Schedule and conduct project meetings and problem-solving sessions.
  • Review and update project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate project records for accounting, billing, and claims.
  • Implement punch list processes, inspections, certifications, closeout agreements, and more.
  • Maintain relationships with clients for future opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in construction management and general construction (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical).
  • Proven ability to manage both new builds and renovation projects.
  • Strong team player with a track record of addressing challenges and providing growth-oriented solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of legal documents and construction industry regulations.
  • Experience working with a small, privately-owned business is a plus.
  • Dependable, results-oriented, and ethical, with verifiable references.
  • Must pass background and drug screenings.
