Job Description
The Chester Family YMCA is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, part-time Community Engagement Coordinator! This part time position pays up to $15.00 per hour and bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
DUTIES of a Community Engagement Coordinator
To develop, implement, lead and evaluate high-quality community engagement programs and activities related to the Chester Family YMCA. The Community Engagement Coordinator will also provide navigation services to community members. Assist with the marketing, development and implementation of the high quality programs, as well as keeps supervisor informed of plans, progress and problems.
QUALIFICATIONS of a Community Engagement Coordinator
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of two years related experience is required. Prior experience in supervision of staff is required. Computer and MS Office experience is beneficial. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, use a computer, telephone and related business equipment as necessary for this position. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Requires the ability to travel to and between branch locations. May be required to lift up to 25lbs.
