About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Lending Officer (CLO) to lead the strategic and operational aspects of its real estate collateralized lending portfolio. The CLO will be responsible for developing and implementing lending strategies that align with the company's profit and credit quality goals, as well as identifying growth opportunities within the real estate markets. This role requires a strong leader to manage lending operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a high level of credit quality. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team to drive responsible growth, optimize lending processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the lending and operations department. Candidates for the CLO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or advanced banking school degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate lending, including mortgage lending, loan servicing, commercial real estate, and construction development, is required, along with a proven track record of managing large teams and achieving growth objectives. The CLO will also be involved in new product development, and client relationship management, and will be expected to have strong leadership competencies, including decisiveness, mentorship, and collaboration. The role demands a professional with a deep understanding of financial analysis, loan structuring, and credit evaluation, as well as familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in real estate lending.
