This individual will work along side a group of Principal and Sr Scientists supporting R&D projects.

Description:

• We are looking for a dedicated Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing datasets and reporting out key conclusions. Our group focuses on the formulation and antimicrobial efficacy testing of disinfectant wipes for food contact and hospital grade disinfectants, as well as qualification of new nonwoven substrates for product integration.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in an R&D laboratory on projects in early stages of development of new polymer materials for filtration products. Main projects are related to new polymeric materials and coatings.
• Use statistical methods to designs experiments (DOE), analyze test results and write technical project reports.
• Develop test benches, equipment, and procedures.
• Working with FTIR, Profilometer, SEM, AFM, and Microscopy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• 80% Laboratory Functions supporting R&D lab and 20% gathering, processing and analyzing additional data
  
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar
• 1 year of experience with polymers in a laboratory (can be internship, coursework or research assistant role)
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems in a lab verified by references
