Salesforce Application Developer

Are you an experienced Salesforce developer looking for your next challenge? We’re hiring a Salesforce Application Developer to support and modernize the internal systems of a high-impact business operations group. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a small team of developers and stakeholders to maintain and expand tools built on the Salesforce platform that directly support operational success. You'll be involved in every part of the development lifecycle—from scoping and design through deployment and support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create and maintain Salesforce-based applications and workflows.
• Translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including planning, coding, testing, release, and documentation.
• Deliver quality-tested solutions using current development practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize existing functionality to improve performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with team members and business partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing system support as needed.
• Contribute to peer code reviews and documentation updates.

What You Bring to the Table:

Required:

• Proven experience working in Salesforce Platform development environments.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
• Ability to apply software testing techniques and quality assurance standards.
• Proficient in agile development processes and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with team members and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience providing user support and training in a technical setting.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of REST and SOAP API integrations.
• Experience monitoring system health and identifying potential issues proactively.
• Familiarity with conducting structured functional testing.
• Able to understand and analyze the ripple effects of changes in software on existing systems.
• Competence in assessing and choosing appropriate validation methods.
• Capable of translating both written and verbal ideas into actionable steps.
• Skilled at explaining technical limitations and recommendations to end users.
• Strong concentration and task focus in dynamic environments.
• Experience in mentoring or supporting less-experienced team members.

Work Conditions:

• Office-based setting with standard safety precautions (e.g., proper use of office equipment and adherence to general safety protocols).
• Primarily a sedentary role with occasional standing, walking, bending, or carrying light items.
• No unusual physical demands are associated with the position.
