Carpe Diem Café is a warm and welcoming neighborhood café where great coffee and great people come together. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Cashier & Barista to join our team! If you love working with people, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for coffee, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
Greet customers with a friendly attitude and create a welcoming environment
Take customer orders at the register accurately and efficiently
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments responsibly
Assist with restocking, maintaining a clean workspace, and keeping the café organized
Provide outstanding customer service and answer questions about our menu
What We’re Looking For:
Prior barista or customer service experience is a plus (we’re happy to train the right person)
Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with people
