Normal Work Schedule (Other):: University Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.To include some nights and weekends

Job Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Master Trades Craftsman and Superintendent of Maintenance, performs skilled duties in maintenance and repair of University buildings and carries out small remodeling and renovation projects.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Additional Comments Thorough knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, as well as construction practices and procedures. Ability to read through and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications. Must have finish carpentry skills developed through several years experience on the job. Job involves climbing ladders and scaffolds, crawling under buildings and above ceilings. Repairs all roofs on campus buildings.
