\n We call our caregivers Care Professionals (Care Pros) because they are true experts at helping older adults live better lives. They play a key role in our mission by building real, caring relationships and providing kind care that helps our clients stay healthy, safe, and happy at home.\n

\n What you’ll do as an on-call caregiver\n
    \n
  • Be on-call for a period of 12 hours, from 7am to 7pm on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon or 7pm to 7am on Fri/Sat/Sun.
  • \n
  • Maintain a charged phone and respond within 5 minutes of outreach.
  • \n
  • Be prepared to respond quickly and be ready for the entire on-call shift (dressed, car gassed up, childcare covered).
  • \n
  • Drive up to 1.5 hours from home as needed.
  • \n
  • Check in during on-call time.
  • \n
  • Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
  • \n
  • Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
  • \n
  • Provide personal care services, including assistance with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.

\n Requirements\n

  • Must be a driver with a personal car.
  • \n
  • Skilled in memory care and capable of at least a medium transfer.
  • \n
  • Adhere to all Honor/Home Instead's policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Minimum of two professional references
  • \n
  • All Care Pros are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to provide care to Clients
  • \n
  • Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
  • \n
  • Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements
  • \n
  • Use the Honor Care Pro Mobile App and have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
  • \n
