About the Role:

A leading energy corporation is seeking a BI Developer to join their team in Houston, TX. This is a junior-level position ideal for candidates with 1-4 years of experience in data analysis and engineering. The primary focus will be on managing data integration between systems, ensuring the sustainability of Power Apps, and identifying opportunities for system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless data integration between two systems and check the accuracy of data connections.
• Collaborate with app owners to review existing Power Apps, ensuring their sustainability and identify needs for updates or enhancements.
• Push updates to Power Apps or support the development team in pushing updates into the Azure/DevOps environment.
• Verify and validate data sources/connections, aligning with the overall vision of the project.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and implementation of data solutions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Python, especially in data-related tasks.
• Solid knowledge of Power Platform, with a strong emphasis on coding proficiency and integration.
• Experience in managing integration between different data systems.
• Familiarity with Azure/DevOps environments for pushing updates to applications.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience in data analysis or engineering.
• Experience working in a corporate environment with a focus on data management and application integration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
