Job Description -
The job holder manages production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data. S/he manages the daily activities of production control and computer personnel to insure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems with the user community. S/he is responsible for the timely escalation of significant support issues, and effectively manages the 7X24 staffing of the area. The job holder must have a thorough knowledge of the company's IT infrastructure. S/he must have in-depth experience with reviewing proposed changes, assessing potential consequences and effectively managing wide-impact changes to the production environment.
