Location: Kent WA

Salary: $25.00 $30.00 h/r DOE (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:

As an Auto Mechanic you will play a crucial role in diagnosing maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This fulltime permanent position offers competitive pay and benefits and is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles including cars trucks and SUVs.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Replace or repair faulty parts such as brakes transmissions and engines.
• Conduct inspections and testdrive vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and provide estimates.
• Adhere to safety procedures and standards while working.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Certification from a recognized automotive institution (e.g. ASE) is a plus.
• Own tools and equipment preferred.
