Overview

We are seeking an Art Director with 6+ years of experience, ideally within the home, design, luxury, or fashion spaces who will oversee the creative development and execution of visual campaigns, brand assets, and marketing initiatives across multiple platforms in a collaborative, design-forward environment. This role requires a balance of hands-on design expertise, conceptual thinking, and team leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, agency-style environments and brings proven experience managing creative teams and delivering work at the highest standard. Reports directly to the VP of Brand and Creative.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead concepting and execution of brand campaigns, photo/video shoots, digital, print, social, and experiential projects—providing art direction across all creative outputs.
• Manage and mentor a team of designers, videographers, and freelancers, fostering collaboration, creativity, and growth.
• Build strong, cross-functional partnerships with marketing, content manager, merchandising, PR, and sales teams to ensure creative aligns with business objectives.
• Maintain and evolve brand identity and visual guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence across campaigns, catalogs, digital platforms, and commerce.
• Oversee end-to-end creative production , from initial concept through final delivery.
• Present creative concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners with clarity, confidence, and storytelling impact.
• Stay ahead of design, cultural, and technological trends , bringing fresh inspiration and innovation to the team.
• Partner with the content manager on social media ideation and execution , ensuring brand voice and visuals are compelling and cohesive.
• Translate business and marketing objectives into creative concepts that resonate with target audiences.
• Balance big-picture vision with hands-on art direction and execution.
• Leverage Ai-driven creative tools and emerging technologies to push innovation in digital design.

Skills & Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • 6+ years of professional design and art direction experience, including at least 2+ years leading others.
• Proven experience in an agency environment, with strong examples of brand campaigns and multi-channel creative work.
• Demonstrated success managing and developing creative teams.
• Strong portfolio that showcases luxury, lifestyle, or home category experience (a plus).
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with motion/UX tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking and business objectives.

KEEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Feels comfortable presenting out information in many formats including email, brainstorms, team meetings and more

Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a seated position for long periods of time
• Standing is to remain on one’s feet in an upright position without moving about
• The ability to alternate between sitting and standing is present when a worker has the flexibility to choose between sitting or standing as needed when this need cannot be accommodated by schedules breaks and/or lunch period
• Lifting and transporting items that could weight up to 50 pounds
• Entering text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard
• Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken work to impart oral information to clients and talent and convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately and quickly
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds such as in person and telephone
• Clarity of vision to see computer screens and workspace
