Position Overview:

As an Experienced Site Manager at FCS Facility Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the janitorial operations at assigned client sites, ensuring that cleaning services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with company standards and client expectations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage a team of janitorial staff, and oversee all aspects of site operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the main point of contact for all janitorial-related matters. Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Staff Supervision and Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate janitorial staff assigned to the site. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that employees perform their duties effectively and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Scheduling and Staffing: Develop and maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and areas of responsibility. Assign tasks and responsibilities to janitorial staff based on workload, skill level, and client requirements.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that cleaning services meet company standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections of the site to assess cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials required for site operations. Order supplies as needed, monitor usage, and track expenses to ensure cost-effective management of resources.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for employees and clients. Conduct safety training sessions, perform safety audits, and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for site operations, including labor, supplies, and equipment expenses. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on site performance, including cleaning schedules, staffing levels, quality control metrics, and client feedback. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site operations, including employee records, incident reports, and client communications.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in janitorial services or facility management, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Knowledge of janitorial practices, cleaning techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for workplace safety.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and janitorial management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.
  • Be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $ 41,600.00
