Job Description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and skilled ABA therapists to work as an independent contractor with various clients. The therapist will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help the client build social, communication, and adaptive skills. You will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to follow an individualized treatment plan designed to address the client’s specific developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Implement ABA therapy in line with the treatment plan developed by the supervising BCBA
• Support the client in improving communication, social skills, and behavior management
• Use positive reinforcement strategies and evidence-based interventions
• Collect and record data on the client’s progress during each session
• Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA to ensure consistency in implementing therapy
• Work with the client in home and community settings as needed
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client during all sessions

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children, particularly those with developmental disabilities, is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the client and her family
• Experience with data collection and reporting progress
• Ability to work independently while following supervision guidelines from the BCBA
• We are not hiring RBTs at this time

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
