Position Overview The teacher, within the area of his/her professional expertise, will instruct students using methods that are consistent with the program(s) of studies adopted by the Board of Education. Our teachers work cooperatively with staff members to develop and implement effective educational programs and to deliver appropriate services to students. Responsibilities Instruct students in high school social studies using proven instructional strategies. Collaborate with peers to design and evaluate curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments. Maintain an engaging, inclusive learning environment. Provide timely feedback and support to all students. Participate in professional development and district initiatives.
